Volunteer

We always welcome volunteers to help with our campaigning work. Could you help deliver our newsletters to your street, or go out with our campaign team and speak to local residents about their concerns?

Whatever your level of experience and however much or little time you can give, we would love to hear from you. Contact us by emailing info@tmgreens.org.uk.

DofE With the Green Party

The Volunteering section of the DofE programme is often the most rewarding, uplifting and memorable part of your DofE adventure. It can, however, sometimes be hard to find a good opportunity for those under the age of 16. If this is you, then we would love to have you with us for your DofE!

Whatever your level of experience and however much or little time you can give, we would love to hear from you. Contact us by emailing info@tmgreens.org.uk.

Tonbridge and Malling Green Party

We campaign for social and environmental justice in the Kentish borough of Tonbridge and Malling.

🌳 Great news for Tonbridge! Upper Castle Field is now protected as a Village Green!Today the Kent County Council Regulation Panel considered the application to designate Upper Castle Field in Tonbridge with Village Green status. The panel heard from applicant Jacquie Wyatt and then Paul Stepto and Mark Hood the Green Party County Councillors for Tonbridge and the panel agreed with the officer's recommendation to approve. This effectively protects the open space from future development or expansion of the adjacent car park as proposed earlier this year which was opposed by Judd Ward Councillors Mark Hood and George Hines and all of their Green Party colleagues at the borough council. Huge congratulations to Slade Area Residents Association's Jacquie Wyatt and Ruth Herbert and everyone who initially campaigned against losing a huge part of open space for parking and then to apply for Village Green status to safeguard it.Pictured are Cllrs Mark Hood, Kath Barton and Anna Cope at the community protest held to oppose the car parks expansion.Find out more by clicking this link 👉 www.tmgreens.org.uk/tonbridge/local-campaigning/victory-for-upper-castle-field-village-green-stat... #tonbridge #tonbridgecastle #GreenSpaces #CommunityVictory #tonbridgemums ...
