The Tonbridge and Malling Green Party came together in high spirits this July for a fantastic community clean-up event focused on the main bridge in Tunbridge. Despite the busy summer schedules, volunteers gathered enthusiastically, making the most of the lovely weather while pitching in to keep our local environment beautiful and welcoming.
Among the dedicated helpers were Green Party councillors Mark Hood and Paul Stepto, who rolled up their sleeves alongside residents to clear litter and spruce up the area. Their commitment to community and environment was evident as they worked tirelessly, chatting and laughing with fellow volunteers throughout the day.
The event was a wonderful reminder of the power of community action and our shared responsibility to care for the spaces we all enjoy. The Green Party remains committed to supporting and organising initiatives like this that bring people together and create a cleaner, greener Tonbridge and Malling.
If you missed this one, look for the next community clean-up, everyone is welcome to join! Together, we can make a real difference.
