Inspire Climate Action: How to Request a Climate Ambassador for Your School

Invite a Climate Ambassador to your school assembly and inspire students with real-world insights into environmental challenges and solutions. Climate Ambassadors are part of the STEM Ambassador programme, and they’re ready to share their expertise, energy, and enthusiasm to ignite a passion for sustainability among young minds.
Step 1: Create an Account
Start by creating an account on the STEM Learning platform.
- Click here to create your account.
- Select “Educator” when registering, and complete the form by adding details about your education setting and role.
Step 2: Activate Your Account
After registering, you’ll receive an email to verify your account.
- Click the “Activate your account” button in the email to finalise your registration.
- Once activated, you’ll be taken directly to your STEM profile.
Step 3: Request a Climate Ambassador
Log into your account and advertise an activity.
- Include “Climate Ambassador” in your activity title to ensure it’s visible to the right volunteers.
- Published opportunities are accessible 24/7 to STEM Ambassadors, giving you access to a wide range of experts.
Step 4: Browse Ambassador Offers
You can also explore existing offers from STEM volunteers, including Climate Ambassadors.
- Click “Offers” on the left-hand menu to browse activities.
- Refine your search by typing “Climate Ambassador” in the keywords box or selecting “Climate” under “Areas of Expertise.”
- Once you find a match, contact the Ambassador directly through the platform.
Step 5: Contact Your Regional Hub
If you’re unable to find a Climate Ambassador online, your regional hub is here to help.
- They can assist in finding suitable Ambassadors, connect you to networks, and provide further resources.
- Visit the Climate Ambassadors page, scroll down, and select “How do I contact my regional hub?” for contact details.
